2. The Shopify Store (What Shopify Collects)

When you click over to browse our products or make a purchase, you are interacting with our store infrastructure powered by Shopify. We are limited to the data collection and processing tools that Shopify builds into their platform.

Shopify collects data to process your orders, prevent fraud, and maintain store security. This includes:

Account & Checkout Data: Your name, shipping/billing address, phone number, and payment details when you make a purchase.
Technical Data: Your IP address, device type, browser information, and details about how you navigate the store. Shopify uses essential and analytical cookies to keep your shopping cart working and to help us understand our store traffic.

Because Shopify manages this infrastructure, its full data practices, cookie details, and your rights are governed directly by its core policies.

3. Cookies & Tracking

On this Landing Page: We do not drop tracking or analytics cookies on you here.
On the Shopify Store: Shopify automatically uses necessary cookies to make the checkout and shopping cart function. If we decide to add optional marketing or analytics tracking (like Google Analytics or a Meta Pixel) to our Shopify admin panel in the future, we will update this section and ensure a proper US-compliant cookie banner is active on the shop domain.

4. Your Rights

If you are a US resident and want to review, correct, or delete the email address you gave us for our newsletter, just contact us directly at ingrid@helloingrids.com. For any data held by Shopify regarding past purchases, you can submit a request through Shopify's standard consumer portal linked in their privacy documentation.
